1. Who we are

HelloJobs (“we”, “us”, “the platform”) is a product and registered trading platform of Dinamo Software Solutions (Pty) Ltd. All services provided through this website are offered by Dinamo Software Solutions (Pty) Ltd, South Africa. You can reach us at support@hellojobs.co.za. By using the website you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy.

2. About the service

HelloJobs is an online job portal that connects job seekers (“candidates”) with employers and recruiters (“recruiters”). We provide the platform only — we are not an employer, employment agency or party to any employment relationship, and we do not guarantee that any candidate will be hired or that any vacancy will be filled.

3. Eligibility & accounts

You must provide accurate, current and complete information when registering and keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password confidential. Candidates under 18 may only use the platform with the consent of a parent or guardian. You may not share or transfer your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: post false, misleading, discriminatory or unlawful content; impersonate others; harvest or scrape data; upload malicious code; or attempt to bypass the platform’s contact-sharing workflow (for example, by placing personal contact details in job adverts or profile fields). We may remove content and suspend or deactivate accounts that breach these terms.

5. Candidate & recruiter responsibilities

Candidates are responsible for the accuracy of their profile and CV. Recruiters are responsible for the lawfulness and accuracy of their job adverts and for how they use any candidate information shared with them through the approved contact-request process. Candidate contact details and CVs are only released to a recruiter after an administrator approves a request, and that access may be revoked.

6. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as your CV or job adverts), but you grant HelloJobs a licence to host, display and process that content for the purpose of operating the service. The HelloJobs name, logo and platform remain our property.

7. Fees

Use of the core platform is currently provided free of charge. We will give notice before introducing any fees, and applicable terms and consumer-protection rights will apply at that time.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, HelloJobs is not liable for any loss arising from job adverts, applications, hiring decisions, the conduct of candidates or recruiters, or any unavailability of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act or other applicable law.

9. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate access to accounts that breach these terms or applicable law. You may close your account at any time from Account & Data, which permanently deletes your associated personal information.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and you submit to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
